Allison Rizzolo is the director of communications for Public Agenda, where she leads a team responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for the organization.
Rizzolo writes frequently on issues including higher education and K-12 education reform, teacher engagement, public engagement and improving American democratic processes. She is the co-author of Everyone at the Table: Engaging Teachers on Evaluation Reform, published in 2013, and produced Public Agenda's 2012 Citizens' Solutions Guides, nonpartisan voter-issue guides for the federal election.
Prior to working for Public Agenda, Rizzolo taught advanced-level Spanish at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Mass., where she helped to develop the curriculum for her subject area and established a deliberative Political Society for students. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and anthropology from Tufts University.
