Brian Elms, the innovation practice lead for the Change and Innovation Agency, is the author of the 2016 book Peak Performance and the former director of Denver's Peak Academy, a coaching and innovation program focusing on employee-led performance management and continuous improvement that has saved the city and county more than $30 million. He also is an Urban Leadership Fellow at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Previously, Elms served as assistant director of government affairs at Denver International Airport, as a legislative specialist for health and long-term care for AARP, as policy director for the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, and as an AmeriCorps team leader.
