DeLaine Bender is the executive director of the National Association of State Procurement Officials. Prior to joining NASPO, she spent more than 10 years as executive director of the Quest International Users Group. Previously she served as deputy director of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers, executive director of the National Christmas Tree Association, associate executive director of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, and vice president of operations for the International SPA Association.
Bender received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Oklahoma. She also holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, the highest professional credential in the association industry.
