Hughey Newsome, former chief financial officer of Flint, Mich., is the interim finance director and CFO for Pontiac, Mich. Previously, he served in a number of private-sector positions, most recently as s senior manager for the business consulting firm MorganFranklin and with the process improvement consulting firm CGN & Associates, where he established and co-led a Center of Excellence.
Newsome holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a master's degree in elecrical engineering from Stanford University.
