Jane Slusser has been chief of staff to Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney since his inauguration in January 2016. She is a veteran of President Barack Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns in Pennsylvania, and was previously an associate editor of history at Oxford University Press. She is a graduate of Barnard College.
