Michael Gaughan is a director with the National Development Council, the oldest national nonprofit community and economic-development organization in the United States. He provides technical assistance, training and financial services to public and private clients as a member of the East Coast Coverage Team.
Gaughan was previously an investment banker with PNC Capital Markets LLC, focusing on origination of redevelopment, housing and community-facility projects. In addition to financial products, he has a wide-ranging background in the development field, with over a decade of experience in real-estate market analysis, pro-forma modeling and fiscal-impact evaluation.
Gaughan earned his bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and his master's degree in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
