Nicole Harmon is vice president for foreclosure mitigation programs at NeighborWorks America, a nonprofit that works to provide access to homeownership and to safe and affordable rental housing. Harmon leads NeighborWorks America's management of the federally funded National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program.
Before joining NeighborWorks in 2005, Harmon worked with the child welfare division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she conducted extensive field research with incarcerated mothers and their children and other governmental surveys. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Pacific Lutheran University and a master’s degree in psychology from Walden University.
