Paul A. Tufano is chairman and CEO of the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies, a Medicaid managed care organization that provides products and services in 15 states and the District of Columbia. He is also executive vice president of Independence Blue Cross, a full-service health insurance corporation where he previously served as general counsel.
Previously, Tufano served as general gounsel of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the governor's cabinet and senior staff. He earned his bachelor's and law degrees from Villanova University.
