Paul Rosenstiel, a former investment banker, served from 2007 to 2009 as California's deputy state treasurer. He currently is a member of the board of the California State Teachers' Retirement System, board chair of the California Budget and Policy Center, and on the advisory board of the Global Project Center at Stanford University.
Rosenstiel has been involved in financing infrastructure and other capital projects for more than three decades. Most recently, he was a managing director of public finance with Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Before that, he managed the San Francisco office of De La Rosa & Co. for 15 years. He received his MBA degree from Stanford University.
