Roger Chafe is an associate professor in the faculty of medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is also director of the university's Janeway Pediatric Research Unit and a member of the editorial board of the journal Healthcare Policy. He has research expertise in the area of health services research, health policy, public engagement and children's health.
Chafe holds a Ph.D. in medicine and was a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Toronto's Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. His Ph.D. dissertation examined how health care resources are allocated.
