Anthony Marcum is a resident policy fellow on the governance team at the R Street Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based free-market-focused think tank. He focuses his research and writing primarily on matters concerning the federal judiciary.
Marcum was previously a litigation attorney in Michigan. Before that, he served as a law clerk in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of West Virginia and the District of New Hampshire, and was an Eagleton Institute of Politics legislative fellow. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University, a law degree from Rutgers University and a master of laws degree from Georgetown University.
