Joe Nickol is a senior associate for MKSK, leading the Columbus, Ohio-based company's urban design and development strategy efforts. His focus is on the regeneration of towns, cities snd neighborhoods and using the lessons of those places to inform the design of new districts and towns that are highly adaptable and resilient.
Nickol is the co-author of "The Neighborhood Playbook," a field guide to community development published in 2016. He earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Notre Dame.
