Mark Stodola served as the mayor of Little Rock, Ark., from 2007 through 2018, and is a past president of the National League of Cities. In 2015, he served as one of six selection committee members for the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence.
Stodola began his career in public service as city attorney of Little Rock, and has also served as prosecuting attorney for the 6th District of Arkansas and senior partner in a Little Rock law firm. He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
