The proportion of Americans who support forgiving up to $10,000 of a person’s federal student loan debt, according to a recent poll. The poll also found that 82 percent of respondents said the government’s priority should be making college more affordable for current and future students, while just 16 percent believed that forgiving student debts should take priority.
