The number of guns that were intercepted by the Transportation Security Administration across all U.S. airports last year, amounting to about 18 per day. The top 10 airports at which firearms were seized included Dallas, Austin and Houston in Texas; three airports in Florida; Nashville, Tenn.; Atlanta; Phoenix; and Denver.
