The current world population, according to a U.N. report. The earth’s population surpassed 7 billion in 2011 but it is not expected to exceed 9 billion for another 15 years. The report also found that the average life expectancy is predicted to rise to 77.2 years in 2050, rising from 2019’s 72.98 years.
