Joe Mariani is a research manager with Deloitte’s Center for Government Insights. His research focuses on innovation and technology adoption for both government organizations and commercial businesses. He previously worked as a consultant to the defense and intelligence industries. Before that, he was a high school science teacher and served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an intelligence officer.
