The record number of people who are planning to shop in store and online from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday this year, an increase of 1.4 million people from last year and 18.1 million people more than five years ago.
More than half of shoppers say that the deals during this five-day period are too good to pass up. On average, a person will spend $321 over the five-day shopping spree.
