The number of students, some as young as 5, who were abused by staff members at a Pennsylvania charter school. Twenty staffers have been charged with inflicting painful punishments including “shoulder work,” which involves grabbing students near their necks and applying a knee to their back until they’re brought to the ground. “This case is every parents’ nightmare,” said Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer.
