The number of teens in Southwick, Mass., who allegedly participated in a mock slave auction on Snapchat from Feb. 8 to Feb. 9.
Investigators are pursuing criminal charges for the eighth graders' hateful and racist comments. The mock slave auction, which was aimed at two particular students, featured racial slurs, derogatory pictures and videos and expressions of the desire to commit acts of violence against people of color.
