Fighting UI Fraud in Texas

The Texas Workforce Commission runs the state’s unemployment insurance program. Over the past two years, the commission has deployed analytics software to help its investigators spot fraudulent claims, and now it's pulling in data from other Texas agencies to make its analytics tools even more effective. Lisa Richardson, CIO of the Texas Workforce Commission, talks about how her agency uses analytics to fight unemployment fraud in this interview from Government Technology’s Texas Digital Government Summit held in Austin.
